PRELIMINARY TASK

Our group idea is an interrogation where by a terrorist has been caught and taken in by two agents and is interrogated for information. At first he does not answer the interrogator and sits until he becomes aggravated and tells him that he works for his mum. The interrogator spirals out of control and chokes the terrorist. The second interrogator walks in to break it up.
plot:
a notorious terrorist has been captured by MI5 and is being interrogated and eventually reveals the information, however little does the interrogator know that his colleague is actually an undercover terrorist and aids the terrorist in his escape

Interrogator: Well, Mr._______, you have currently been charged with treason, attempted mass murder and possession of weapons of mass destruction. What do you have to say for yourself?

Terrorist:
silence

Interrogator:
Mr.______ I would advise you that if you do not comply with us then we will be left with no choice but to charge you with the three crimes which would result in a public execution

Terrorist:
Silence

Interrogator:
chuckles
Quiet one aren’t ya’
However, if you were to comply then I could perhaps make you an offer maybe less extreme? Than being decapitated

Terrorist:
What do you want?

Interrogator:
We want to know who you work for

Terrorist:
I work for your mum
laughs

Interrogator:
Smacks terrorist across the face
(angrily)
Now listen here if you don’t tell me what I need to know right this instance then...

*Enter Interrogator 2*
*Grabs interrogator 1*
Relax! Relax! We can't interrogate him if he's dead

Interrogator 1: that's a lot more than what he deserves

LOUIS
 Boss…

CRIME LORD
Now you listen here Louis, I ain’t got time for your sob story! There’s this guy out there, a detective, he keeps shutting down our warehouses and stopping our weapons supply. As of yet he has no evidence that links these weapons with me but…

LOUIS
 So…

CRIME LORD
BUT, and it’s a big but so you better be listening Louis, he’s getting very close. SO what I need from you is to persuade him a little.

LOUIS

CRIME LORD
His wife’s recently had a kid she's still in hospital. Give ‘em a little present on my behalf; you know to welcome the kid to the world.

LOUIS
 Have you tried talkin’?

CRIME LORD
Yeah we have but he’s persistent.  You know I wouldn’t be askin’ ya if there were any other way. He threatens the whole operation everything. You’re freedom, my freedom, our freedom. Your all like sons to me, that makes us family and family comes first.

LOUIS
What do you want me to do when it’s done?

CRIME LORD
Nothin’ the paper will speak for itself.

LOUIS Exits

CRIME LORD
 Bobby, get in here.

BOBBY
 Yeah, boss?

CRIME LORD
Keep an eye on young Louis aight? I’m not sure he understands the responsibility he has to this family.

  1. You need the story board and script for the preliminary task which the team decided to proceed with. This is critical.

  2. a strong preliminary task wrt to the idea , match on action, however there is a need to evidence shot reverse shot, ensure the scene is in focus and remove distracting material from scenes ignored to maintain verisimilitude (pumpkin). Finally Focus is a key requirement of any video production. Ensure all footage is checked before completion of a shoot... Overall, well done..
